Dr. Mark Dean was previously the VP of IBM Research and the Dean of the Tickle College of Engineering. He has worked on multiple foundational technologies to personal and industrial computing, including the ISA system bus and the first 1 GHz processor chip. He is currently a task force member of the National Artificial Intelligence Research Task Force.
